Canada 🇨🇦 PNP Draw on 22 July 2020

Canada announced new Express Entry draw on July 22, inviting 557 Express Entry PNP nominated candidates to apply for permanent residence. This is the lowest CRS requirement for a PNP-specific draw so far in 2020.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement was 687 to receive Invitations to Apply (ITA) in this draw. Without the 600 additional points from the provincial nomination, this means that the invited candidates would have had a CRS score of 87.

British Columbia Tech Pilot Draw

 The BC PNP Tech Pilot is a fast-track immigration pathway that was launched to assist employers in attracting potential immigrants to facilitate the immigration process for in-demand foreign tech workers and international students.

British Columbia issued 57 invitations to immigration candidates under the Express Entry BC dnd Skills Immigration categories  on July 7, at minimum score of 80 with a job offer in the province’s technology sector to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.

Express Entry candidates those who received a nomination from British Columbia will be awarded an additional 600 points toward their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score 80 and are effectively guaranteed an Invitation To Apply (ITA) in a future federal draw.
