British Columbia held its Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) draw on December 8, inviting 256 Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence. The minimum scores for this draw ranged between 77 and 97 points.
Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination are given an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, practically guaranteeing an invitation to apply for permanent residence in a subsequent Express Entry draw in processing time of six months or less.
